QiGong,as a kind of traditional method of healing, maintaining good health and prolonging life span, it was closely related to Chinese Traditional Medicine. When ancient Chinese practiced QiGong, some of them developed special abilities to “see” the internal organs, acupuncture point, meridians, and the moving of Qi in the body. Step by step, they discovered the principle of life and the relationship between human beings and nature. And the theories of Yin Yang, Wu Xing, Ba Gua and Traditional Chinese Medicine were established…..
In the past, only a very small amount of people with high socioeconomic status could practice QiGong. Some of them expanded their wisdom and special abilities. Then they naturally became the leaders of their time. Their works represent the essence of Chinese culture. For example, the books I Ching《易经》 and Huang Di Nei Jing《黄帝内经》still have great influence on many aspects of China today.
Since 1970s, more and more people in China wanted to rediscover the ancient secret of healing and improving health as they began to have better life conditions. ZhiNeng QiGong was founded during this time.
Zhi means wisdom and intelligence, Neng means comprehensive abilities. ZhiNeng QiGong is a kind of QiGong which develops intelligence and strengthening ability. ZhiNeng summarizes all the effects of QiGong---strengthening the body; prolonging life span; preventing and curing diseases; developing superior mental capability etc.
ZhiNeng QiGong has a special system of theory and a systematic methodology. It consolidated many great characters from Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, traditional Chinese medicine, Martial Art and Folk-Qigong, and integrated the achievements of modern science, medicine, and philosophy. It is concise, sensible, extremely effective, safe and easy to learn….
ZhiNeng QiGong had shown good effects on more than 210 kinds of diseases. Many of the these patients were considered incurable by Western and Chinese medicine. But they had good results through practicing ZhiNeng QiGong and Qi therapy by QiGong teachers.
In 1998, ZhiNeng QiGong was formally ranked as the top one QiGong by the Chinese government and was approved to introduced widely.
